The Titans would be a tougher nut to crack. 

 

Timmy won the toss and elected to bat. Go Timmy!

 

This time the Lions opened with Tomo and Taiga, who got us off to a cracking start with the pair smacking the Titans attack all over the park! Taiga was stumped on 29 with the score at 1/69. Nived then strode to the crease with a quick-fire 12 off 11 but was caught with the score at 2/109. Tomo definitely had his Weetabix for breakfast and lunch as he opened up with a cracking 97 off 51 balls, with 11 fours and 5 sixes!! Timmy chimed in with 18 off 10 balls. With our allotted 18 overs up, the Lions had amassed a whopping 2/175, a run rate of nearly 10 an over. 

 

All eyes turned to our bowlers, with some stand out performances from Pratyush (1/15), Timmy (1/15), Sam (0/15), Tomo (0/12). A Titans player had previously scored 150 in another match, so we needed to get him out quick. Timmy bowled a fuller delivery which he chipped to Tomo at mid on! Out! Eric then sent the stumps flying off the last ball to see the Titans at 4/138 of 18 overs. Another victory! 🦁 Tomo being MOTM after his amazing 97.
