U19 League Finals 2023, 3rd place playoff, Lions U19 vs MIB U19
After our loss against the Sano Braves we moved to The SICG for the third v fourth place play off against Men in Blue.
Timmy and Tomo got us off to a flyer, scoring 44 and 47 respectively. Vijay chipped with a handy 27 off 23, to see us to 157 after 20 overs.
Our fielding really let us down, with 7 dropped catches, which made the game tougher than it should have been. Timmy was again the pick of the bowlers with 2/20 off 4. Tomo, Kirren, Juto, Stefan and Eric all took a wicket each to see MIB fall short at 8/121 off 20 overs.
Timmy took the player of the match honours. Well down Lions for a very respectable third place in our first Under 19s seasons.
