U19 League Semi Final 2023, Lions U19 vs Sano Braves U19
We went down fighting in our first match against the Sano Braves, restricting them to 136. Timmy was the pick of our bowlers with 2/17 of 4. Tomo was also tight with 2/24 and was supported by Nitin with 1/17 off 3 and Eric with 1/11 off 1. Taiga took 2 great catches behind the stumps.
Our batting let us down, with our first 5 batsmen only scoring 15 runs. Some rash shots saw us suffer. Stefan and Eric however dug deep and did us proud with Stefan scoring 25 and Eric scoring 13. After 20 overs the Lions could only reach 98, well below the required 137.
